It is official now, Salman Khan will be in a lead role of Karan Johar's new flick Shudhhi replacing Shahrukh Khan as talks going on in B-Town. The film has been having casting issues since the main lead Hrithik Roshan and Kareena kapoor opted out from the film.
Karan Johar even approached to other Big names like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer singh, But nothing was finalized cause of the dates problem of Ranbir Kapoor in the next coming years. Ranbir Kapoor is already working in three project with Imtiaaz Ali with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone, Jagga jassoos with Katrina Kaif and Anurag Kashyap's Bombey velvet. Where, Ranveer singh has chose to work with his gossiped girlfriend Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhanshali's next Baajirao Mastani.
There were talks of Karan Johar is even trying to approach Shahrukh Khan for his flick, but they are not on good terms which results in Salman Khan is getting an advantage of their rift.
It is official now that Salman Khan is playing the main lead in 'Shudhhi'. The film will be directed by Karan Malhotra who directed Agneepath before. Salman Khan fans will be able to see him in full fledged lead role in Karan Johar's flick.
The film has been set to be release next year 2015.
